Designing the Invictus Capital Portfolio App for seamless crypto investing and fund management.
Context
The Invictus Portfolio App allowed users to invest in, manage and monitor a range of blockchain-based investment funds directly from their mobile device. Similar in experience to platforms like Luno or Revolut, the app provided access to Invictus’s core funds, including C10, C20, Hyperion, and the Invictus Margin Lending Fund (IML).

Goal
Create a professional yet approachable investment experience that brings together portfolio performance, trading capabilities and the latest news in one clear interface.
Challenge
The app needed to merge the familiarity of consumer finance tools with the depth of institutional-grade crypto investing. It had to simplify complex blockchain fund structures and real-time performance data for everyday investors, while maintaining the credibility and precision expected from a financial product.
Approach
I led the end-to-end product design, ensuring the interface was clear, data-driven and easy to use.
Designed intuitive dashboards showing fund holdings, performance history and real-time portfolio value.
Developed a clean, modular design system that balanced technical data with visual clarity.
Created seamless buy, sell and transfer flows that made trading Invictus funds as simple as managing fiat accounts.
Integrated a news and insights feed to keep investors informed about market movements and fund updates.
Worked closely with engineers and data teams to visualise blockchain-backed performance data in a way that built user trust.
Outcome
A mobile experience that made diversified crypto fund investing accessible to a wider audience.
A cohesive design system that unified the Invictus product suite across web and mobile.
Increased engagement and retention through real-time data visualisation and accessible market insights.
Strengthened Invictus Capital’s reputation as an innovative, data-driven leader in blockchain investing.
Note on availability
The Invictus Portfolio App is no longer available following the company’s closure in 2023 as part of broader crypto market challenges that affected several related businesses.
